The New Hotness!

I've got fun news today--I'm unveiling the gorgeous, bitable, likable, delicious cover of the third book in the Rising Star Chef trilogy! Meet Beck, the hottest thing any kitchen has ever seen:

I know, right?! I could just squeeze him. This might actually be my favorite cover yet...but what do your think?

Beautiful

I've got so much fun stuff to share as things gear up for the release of TOO HOT TO TOUCH in August! For instance, I decided to get in on the Romance Trading Cards fun, and (of course) went a little overboard--I did a card for each member of the team in my new culinary competition trilogy, plus the subplot romance hero and heroine! I'll be sharing those with you soon, but first, the Big Reveal:

My new, gorgeous, hotter-than-a-red-hot-skillet cover for SOME LIKE IT HOT! This one won't be on sale until November 27th, but until then, feel free to stare at this guy and daydream. I've barely stopped looking at him since he first appeared in my inbox. And if he inspires you to pre-order the book, well, good. It's already up on Amazon, BN, Borders, and more!

Let the drooling begin...

It's Officially A Cover

I got my cover flats for Too Hot To Touch today! They are mouthwateringly gorgeous, I have to say. Until I saw them, I didn't know what color the spine and back of the book were going to be, and my only reaction is: Way to GO, St. Martin's! Can you come decorate my house next? Because it's exactly the right color. Sizzling red!

For those without a magnifying glass who want to know what the back cover actually says, here it is:

Welcome to the Rising Star Chef competition, where today’s hottest chefs battle it out on national TV for a chance at fame, fortune and culinary supremacy.  Every contestant hungers to win, but only one will take the prize…

HE’S GOT THE SIZZLE

When it comes to competitive cooking, Max Lunden is no stranger to winning…though he’s never been great at working with a team. A master chef—and major hunk—he’s traveled the world, picking up new cooking techniques as well as beautiful women. But when the prodigal chef returns home to his family’s Greenwich Village restaurant, he discovers one too many cooks in the kitchen—and she’s every bit as passionate as he is…

SHE’S GOT THE FIRE

Juliet Cavanaugh used to have a crush on Max when she was just a teenager, hanging out at Lunden & Sons Tavern, hoping to catch a glimpse of the owner’s oldest, and hottest, son. Now a chef herself—competing in the biggest culinary contest in the country—Juliet will be cooking side by side with the one man she’s always admired…and desired.  But despite their simmering attraction, Juliet is determined to keep her cool—no matter how hot it gets…

Cover Art News!

Oh my gosh, you guys! I've got the cover art for my next book, Too Hot to Touch, and I'm DYING to share it with you...but I can't yet. Sorry! While we make sure we have final approvals, everyone chime in--what are some of your favorite book covers of all time?

Here are a few of mine:

Even Newer Cover Look!

Right after I posted the cover for ON THE STEAMY SIDE, I got an email from my editor saying they'd decided to tweak some of the colors. They wanted to add a little more color to warm it up, and they showed me several options. Here's the one I liked the best, and it's the final, final version of the STEAMY cover!
What do you think? I adore it. I think the blue makes it even more fun than it was before, and I love the way the title looks now.

I HAVE A COVER!

I know you're all waiting breathlessly for pics from my latest travels, but this has to take precedence. St. Martin's gave me the go ahead to post the cover art for Can't Stand the Heat! My debut romantic comedy featuring a hotshot Manhattan chef who falls for a snarky restaurant reviewer will be out this September--and I think you can see from the cover how SMP is planning to market it! My only hope is that the hotness of the sex scenes in the actual book live up to the art. A completely unbiased beta reader (my mother) assures me that they do.

Anyway, here it is. Gasp, swoon, enjoy! I've been doing all three on a regular rotating basis since I first saw it...
